As far as survival games go, Unturned might not woo you with any fancy graphics. In fact, it looks dangerously similar to a Roblox title. But rest assured, while it might have some history with the Roblox platform, Unturned is its own beast.

With gameplay similar to DayZ, Unturned drops players into a zombie-infested open world, where they must craft, loot, and survive for as long as possible. You can play Unturned solo, or with friends across online servers (or create your own). Regardless how you choose to play, you're in for a challenging time. But is it still popular in 2024? We'll go over Unturned's player count for January 2024.

According to SteamCharts, in the last 30 days, Unturned reached a peak of 64,089 concurrent players. On average, there were over 55,355 players. This is a slight increase over the average amount of players seen in December 2023, which was roughly 48,189.

Unturned saw its all-time concurrent player count peak at 112,648 players, which was in January 2023. Given that Unturned has been around since 2014, its player numbers in the last few years have been significantly higher. It seems that fans aren't quite sick of Unturned just yet. In fact, quite the opposite.

It's worth nothing that the above numbers only apply to those playing on PC via Steam. Now that Unturned is available on consoles, too, the exact player count numbers are much higher.

Unturned is available as a free-to-play title on Windows, macOS, Linux, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
