V Rising first arrived back in 2022 and there was a lot of excitement surrounding this particular title. V Rising is a survival game that has the perspective of a game like Diablo 4. There are a lot of different events that happen within the game naturally so when developers add even more, players take notice.
V Rising is themed around Vampires so it already has that haunted and creepy aesthetic naturally. During Halloween time, that aesthetic is pushed even further. In 2022, the developers created a Halloween event for players to check out. Now the Halloween event is back for V Rising there is plenty to be excited about.

What Is Coming To V Rising This Halloween?
Last year Stunlock Studios naturally opted to release a massive Halloween update for their open-world vampire survival game V Rising. In 2023 we can likely expect some of the same events to return in some capacity. We already know that the devs have re-released the popular Haunted Nights Castle Pack (more on that below); but what else could the game introduce in 2023?
We imagine that the game might hold another free-to-play weekend to encourage players to jump in and play with their friends.
Whilst unconfirmed, we wouldn't be surprised to see some interesting new additions for returning and veteran players with a new server defaults. Last year the devs introduced MAD HUNT bringing an element of chaos to the game. When playing in the new preset, V Blood locations, V Blood spell unlocks, and V Blood technologies will be randomized around the map.
So maybe the developers will introduce another fun tweak to the game to celebrate the Halloween period.
What's included in the Haunted Nights Castle Pack For V Rising?
The Halloween DLC for V Rising is officially called the Haunted Nights Castle Pack. In this particular Halloween Pack, there is no story-related content or even new monsters that arrive. The Halloween update for V Rising is cosmetic. There are a lot of different items that players can get for it as well. This includes Hanging pumpkin lights, stained glass decor, coffins, and a lot more are now available for V Rising.
From what we can tell, this update is purely cosmetic and offers nothing of gameplay value for players. This does not upgrade your castle in any way. This is strictly for players who want to decorate their castle.
When Will The Halloween Update Arrive For V Rising
The Haunted Nights Castle Pack is available now for V Rising. The pack should last throughout the rest of October. Although this is DLC cosmetic content for the game, the pack is free and will remain free so long as it is up. So players really do not have too much of a reason to not get it.
Players just need to remember that they need to pick up this pack quickly. Once October ends, the pack will no longer be available again for V Rising. So this is a temporary DLC that interested players should jump on as soon as they can.
