V Rising developer Stunlock Studios announced the launch of 48 new PvP servers, which includes the new Scheduled Wipes feature enabled.

V Rising Launch 48 New PvP Servers With Scheduled Wipe Feature

The latest hotfix update for Stunlock Studios’ survival horror V Rising introduced players to various new features and much-needed balance changes and bug fixes. One of these additions is the Scheduled Wipes feature that can make managing PvP servers more efficient.

On the back of the hotfix update release, the developer announced new PvP servers are launching worldwide that include this new feature. Accordingly, these servers will be available from 7th July 2022 for specific regions.

This feature was included in the recent 6th July patch update for V Rising, which is available for all to download. The developers also announced the feature addition on Twitter.

Players looking for a new PvP server to join can identify this feature highlighted by a brand-new icon beside the server name before entering. These server wipes will occur once every three weeks as the number of days remaining until their next server wipe will also appear beside the server list.

Once the date for the Scheduled Wipe arrives, the date for the next Server Restart will automatically activate the server wipe. The Scheduled Wipes feature is optional for server hosts, which can be found within the Basic category and look for the Basic Settings in GPortal.

To commemorate the launch of the Scheduled Wipes feature, the developer announced that they’d released 48 new servers worldwide with the feature enabled. These new servers will also include the highly-requested Merciless Duo PvP, with more servers to be launched soon, the developers detailed in the patch notes.

With the Merciless Duo PvP, other PvP servers are added to these server packages available for most regions. One Duo PvP, two Merciless Squad PvP, and Squad PvP servers are added to these server packages.

The developers have listed all the regions gaining the server packages, including the Scheduled Wipes feature. Additionally, they’ve listed how many packages will be available for the regions which should be available today.

The following regions are receiving the latest server packages and their quantities:

  • US West: one server package
  • US Central: one server package
  • US East: one server package
  • EU Central: three server packages
  • Japan: one server package
  • Australia: one server package

If players experience difficulties or problems joining or enabling the Schedule Wipes feature, they can submit their feedback through their dedicated Support page and follow the instructions.
