VALORANT Mobile has exceeded 100 million registered players in China alone, Riot Games has announced – a staggering number made all the more impressive by the fact that the game has never left the country.
The milestone arrives just ahead of the mobile title’s one-year anniversary, having launched exclusively in China on August 19, 2025. Back in May 2026, Riot confirmed the game had already hit 10 million active daily players, and the latest figure confirms that momentum has only continued to build.
When Is VALORANT Mobile Coming Globally?
That is, of course, the question every VALORANT player outside China is asking right now. The game has remained a China exclusive since launch, but speculation is mounting that a global announcement could arrive very soon.

Tencent has confirmed a new exhibition – Worlds of Play: The Game Art Exhibition – taking place at Gamescom between August 27 and 29. The event will feature artwork and interactive exhibits celebrating Tencent’s titles, and VALORANT Mobile has been confirmed on that list, complete with a first look at the game’s English logo. The event being in August would mean it would be just after the one-year anniversary of the game’s initial release.
PC players have already been eyeing the mobile version’s exclusive cosmetic bundles because PC players began to get jealous of Valorant Mobile’s exclusive bundles, so the prospect of finally getting their hands on the game proper will only add to the anticipation.

All eyes are on Gamescom 2026 – if Riot and Tencent are going to make the call, that stage looks increasingly hard to pass up.
