Bind To Replace Icebox In Valorant Patch 6.08

Icebox will be indefinitely removed from Valorant Competitive and Unrated modes and Bind will replace it in the map pool.

Bind To Replace Icebox In Valorant Patch 6.08

A few days ago, Riot announced that one of the favourite maps of the Valorant community i.e. Bind is coming back to the game in patch 6.08 on April 25. A ton of changes have been made to Bind including the teleports, B elbow, and more. Now, the only question remaining was which map Bind will replace in the map pool and while some people wanted Fracture to leave Valorant, pros like Fnatic Kamyk wanted it to replace Pearl. 

However, none of these wishes came true as the map leaving Valorant map pool is Icebox and Riot has not yet revealed their plans with the changes coming to it. In addition to this, to help players get prepared for the changes coming to Bind, Riot will be making the map changes live in all other modes except Competitive and Unrated in patch 6.07. 

Players should also be able to test these changes in the Valorant patch 6.07 PBE which will run from April 7 to 10. We will update this page once we have more information about what Riot plans to do with Icebox, so make sure to keep an eye on it.
