Former Sentinels Head Coach, SyykoNT, Joins M80 As VP Of Esports

M80, the winners of NA Valorant Challengers League 2023, has announced the addition of Don “SyykoNT” Muir as Vice President of Esports. SyykoNT is a well-known personality in the Valorant esports scene and has experience of coaching popular Valorant professional teams like XSET and Sentinels. 

Not only this, he has worked previously with M80's CEO and Co-Founder Marco Mereu to lead XSET's squad, and they will be joining hands once again, and SyykoNT will "oversee M80’s esports operations to build on its success and explore expansion into new titles."

“Don has a rich track record building and leading championship-caliber esports teams, and his addition to M80 will ensure our continued competitive dominance,” said Marco Mereu. “M80 has quickly cemented itself as a top esports organization, and Don’s ability to spot and support talent will help us thrive in our current titles while also successfully entering new ones.”

After winning NA VCL 2023 in a dominant manner, M80 is now gearing up for Americas Challengers Ascension 2023, and if they win this as well, they will be playing in Americas International League 2024 against partnered teams to battle for a place in Masters and Champions 2024. 

“It’s been inspiring watching M80’s standout success this year, and I’m looking forward to working alongside Marco again and playing a part in the organization’s growth,” said SyykoNT. “M80 is approaching pivotal moments across its teams and my sights are set on nothing but setting our squads up for success. The fuse is lit!”
