With all of the new maps that have been introduced to Valorant, not all of them can be on the rotation list for competitive gameplay. The reasons vary but this is largely to make sure that the competitive playlist for Valorant isn't crowded with too many maps. As you can see, Sunset is currently in competitive rotation for Valorant. Valorant players will want to get used to this map as soon as possible so they are not taken by surprise when it arrives. Breeze is also making a return with some major changes added make it a more balanced map.
When Does The Valorant Map Rotation Happen?
