Riot Games has revealed that Jay "Sinatraa" Won has been suspended from all Valorant competitions, including the upcoming VCT Stage 1 Masters, scheduled for this weekend, as they have launched an investigation regarding the allegations of sexual abuse made by Won's ex-girlfriend.

The official North American Valorant esports account tweeted out an announcement on 10th March, explaining that they "are aware of the current situation regarding Jay Won and have launched an investigation."

Riot explains that "per our existing competitive rules and investigative process, a decision has been made to suspend Won throughout the investigation and therefore he will not be able to compete this weekend."

VCT Masters is split into two weekends, with the first set of matches played from 11th March to the 14th. Sentinels, Sinatraa's team, only has five players signed into the roster, and it remains to be seen if they'll look for a last-minute replacement or they decide to drop from the event.

As of the time of writing, Sentinels and Sinatraa have yet to acknowledge these accusations publicly. We'll keep you updated as the story develops.
