Steel joins T1 Valorant

The former 100 Thieves player has found a new home with his old CS:GO teammate Skadoodle.
Steel joins T1 Valorant

Joshua “steel” Nissan had been sitting on 100Thieves’ bench since September after a respectable 3rd-4th place finish at Valorant Champions Tour Stage 3: Masters Berlin. Steel was a member of 100 Thieves for over a year before being replaced by Aaron “b0i” Thao.

Today, the announcement has been made that steel will be added to T1’s Valorant roster.

Steel will join his former iBUYPOWER teammate Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham on T1, a team that has been unable to break into the upper echelon of the North American Valorant esports scene throughout most of 2021. Failing to qualify for any of the three Valorant Masters events.

This move comes after Braxton “brax” Pierce stepped down and Zander “thwifo” Kim was added to the team back in October. It also comes amidst rumours that Timothy “autimatic” Ta is considering a move back to CS:GO.

If autimatic does decide to return to CS:GO, it will leave the team with only four active members. Begging the question, what is T1’s next move?

T1’s Valorant roster for 2022 will now be:

  • Joshua “steel” Nissan
  • Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham
  • Zander “Thwifo” Kim
  • Timothy “autimatic” Ta
  • Rahul “curry” Nemani
  • Ha “sayaplayer” Jeong-woo (Inactive)
  • David “dd8” Denis (Head Coach)
  • Dakota “Stunner” MacLeod (Assistant Coach)
