TSM release LunarKats days after announcing female Valorant roster

In a surprising turn of events, Team SoloMid has decided to drop Katherine “LunarKats” So from its newly formed female Valorant roster, just days after they confirmed the signing of the five-person strong roster.

The decision was mutual according to the announcement made via social media.

"Today we've agreed to mutually part ways with LunarKats," the tweet, which has responses disabled, reads. TSM adds that the team is still planning on competing in the upcoming Valorant Game Changers events, and are looking for a sub "to avoid having to pull out."

LunarKats had been practicing with the team for weeks, participating in multiple community-organized tournaments. Fans even knew she'd be a part of the roster thanks to an unfortunate leak that happened in a public Discord server.

During her 20th March stream, LunarKats was seeing abruptly ending her stream, claiming that she "had to go do something real quick."

TSM has yet to issue a follow-up statement explaining the reason for LunarKats' sudden departure. We'll keep you updated as the story develops.
