Riot Games has commented on the state of Agent Yoru in Valorant, noting that changes or buffs will be coming soon.

Valorant Episode 2 Act 1 introduced a new duelist Agent, Yoru, with abilities geared towards gaining an informational advantage. Back in February, developer Riot Games already buffed Yoru's Signature Ability Gatecrash, as well as his ultimate, Dimensional Rift in the v2.03 patch. Now, it appears Riot Games will make more changes to Yoru, with possible buffs incoming "very soon".

Valorant Yoru changes and buffs

While Riot Games have not revealed the exact changes or buffs to Yoru, the developer did respond to fans on Reddit, noting they have changes in the works for Yoru.

The buff to Yoru in Valorant should revolve around his Fakeout ability, which is used to create phantom footsteps, basically creating a decoy.

In a Reddit thread entitled "Yoru's Fake footsteps ability seriously needs to be buffed or reworked", Riot Games' Rycoux commented on the situation.

The developer explains: "We have some changes coming very soon and will be diving into the decoy shortly after. We totally hear your feedback on the power deficit on decoy and will be investigating some changes to that ability."

Responding to a user who said "its not just the decoy, though that is the main weak point" the developer "totally agreed".

This points towards multiple buffs for Valorant's 14th Agent, Yoru. At the time of writing, however, Riot has not shared the exact details of these possible Yoru buffs.

It will be interesting to see which changes and possible buffs Riot Games makes to Yoru. Hopefully, fans of the duelist Valorant Agent will see some buffs appear in patch notes "very soon" as the developer has specified.
