Alan Wake 2 Targeting An October Release Date According To Actor

According to the voice of Alan Wake, Matthew Porretta, Remedy is targeting an October release date for Alan Wake 2. In a podcast, he stated that:

"I've been working and will be working more on Alan Wake 2. I think it's supposed to come out in October, but I don't know the exact time of that"

Earlier this year, Remedy revealed that the game is fully playable from start to finish, meaning that this October release date is believable. The game was first announced during The Game Awards in 2021, with development apparently going well. Sam Lake, creative director of Remedy, stated:

"We are deep in production, have a lot of material, and a great deal of the game is playable"

The first Alan Wake game was released over thirteen years ago and has been ported to basically every system you can possibly want to play it on. It was extremely well received, but Remedy decided to work on another game rather than a sequel, making many people think that their dream of an Alan Wake 2 was dead.
