Troy Baker and Bill Rosemann sparked up hopes for a Daredevil game

A Daredevil video game might be an interesting project and recent Twitter exchange between Troy Baker and Bill Rosemann (Head of Marvel Games) got us thinking.
Troy Baker and Bill Rosemann sparked up hopes for a Daredevil game

Update: Bill Rosemann clarified last night on Twitter that there is no Daredevil game in development.

Original story:

Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer by day, and vigilante by night -  Daredevil.

He is one of the most interesting Marvel superheroes, and many fans think that he is not really represented well in the Marvel-based works and they would like to see more of him.

There's an excellent Netflix TV series, but a video game based on him would be something really different.

One recent Twitter exchange got fans really excited about the potential game based on him as the main protagonist.

Troy Baker, famous video game voice actor(Joel in The Last of Us, Same Drake in Uncharted, Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, etc), publicly tagged Bill Rosemann (Head of Marvel Games) in a tweet asking people to share their dream superhero game.

Bill responded by calling him a “man without fear”, and every Daredevil fan knows that this is an alias of his.

Now, this is pretty far-fetched and it might be nothing at all, but it sure is an interesting thought.

Troy Baker is known as a big Daredevil fan and he for sure would like to play him in a potential video game, and this is maybe just him and Bill Rosemann goofing around, because Bill also knows that Troy is a big fan.

The next question is: how would this game look in terms of gameplay?

Some fans suggest that the big focus should be on the investigative aspect, similar to Netflix show. Some kind of a noir detective game, where we follow him both as a lawyer and as a superhero.

One recent leak suggests that a Daredevil game is planned for 2022 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Apparently, it will be set in Chicago (Hell's Kitchen is in New York, so that's a bit strange), with a focus on melee combat and a lot of investigation.
