While Sony narrowly lost out on the PlayStation Plus versus Games with Gold comparison this week, PS4 owners are still in for a surprising treat.

HITMAN: The Complete First Season, surprisingly went free on the PlayStation Store.

Grab HITMAN for free

We advise you to grab HITMAN: The Complete First Season for free from the PlayStation Store right now, as there is no indication of when this free game offer will expire.

IO Interactive's reboot of the franchise, released all the way back in March 2016, to great reviews from critics. It has also been free on PS4 in the past, with the February 2019 PlayStation Plus lineup.

You can don the boots of Agent 47 now for free, while at the time of writing, IO Interactive hasn't officially announced this free game offer, and the PlayStation Blog is as quiet as a well-trained assassin-for-hire.

This is why you should probably pick up the freebie as soon as you see it since there is no telling how long it will last, or if it could be some kind of error.
