There are tons of different types of creatures in the hit game Grounded, and each of them is unique in its own way.

As you explore the huge world as a tiny protagonist in Grounded, it will be important to know information about the creatures you encounter before you fight them head-on or handle them another way.

In this article, we'll go over how to peep a creature in Grounded as well as what peeping does.

How To Peep A Creature In Grounded - What It Does

Peeping a creature in Grounded is the only way to gain important information about that creature. As such, you'll want to peep a creature every time you find a new species that you haven't seen before.

This way, you'll know the best way to approach the creature and prepare for what it has to offer in combat.

You'll learn how to peep early in the game during the tutorial quest Bug Knowledge, which will show you how to peep a bug for the very first time and explain the importance of the mechanic. 

Peeping requires you to press a button - Y on Xbox or X on PC - while looking directly at a creature. You'll want to ensure that you don't startle the creature, so it doesn't run away.

The tutorial will allow you to practice peeping.  Once you've looked at the creature for long enough, you'll receive important information about that creature.

This information comes in the form of Creature Cards, which you'll collect throughout the game as you meet new creatures.
