You won't need Earth's mightiest PC to meet the Marvel's Avengers system requirements.

With Marvel's Avengers releasing on 4th September 2020, Square Enix has given PC gamers enough time to look for some upgrade options, if their gaming rigs don't meet the minimum or recommended PC system requirements. 

 

Marvel's Avengers PC system requirements

Marvel's Avengers seem to do PC gaming justice, as Square Enix revealed there will be an optional 30 GB high-resolution texture pack, bringing the richest, highest-detailed visuals throughout the game world.

There's also ultra-wide and multi-monitor support for PC setups which allow it. Further, Marvel's Avengers will have fully unlocked framerate to support extremely responsive 144hz gameplay.

However, don't expect the recommended PC system requirements for Marvel's Avengers to run at over 144 fps with the high-resolution texture pack. Square Enix did not reveal the Marvel's Avengers PC system requirements needed for playing the game maxed out at 144fps. 

 

 

Instead, the developers only revealed the minimum and recommended PC system requirements, which you can view below.

Minimum PC requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit   
  • CPU: i3-4160 or AMD equivalent   
  • 8GB RAM   
  • NVIDIA GTX 950 / AMD 270 (min 2GB video ram)   
  • DirectX 12   
  • 75GB HDD space     

Recommended PC requirements:    

  • Windows 10 64-bit   
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K, 3.4 Ghz or AMD Ryzen 51600, 3.2 Ghz
  • 16GB RAM   
  • NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480, 8GB.   
  • DirectX 12   
  • 110GB SSD space     

As you can see, there's a key difference in the HDD versus SSD space requirements for Marvel's Avengers. This is likely due to the ultra-high resolution texture pack.

If you want to do a real test to see if your gaming rig has what it takes, don't forget there's a pre-order beta for Steam which takes place between from 14th to 16th August.

From 21st to 23rd August, the Marvel's Avengers open beta for PC will take place, giving you a chance to check out the game without opening your wallet.
