BioWare showcased a new trailer for the next Dragon Age, featuring the return of fan favourite character Solas.

New Dragon Age 4 trailer shows return of Solas

BioWare debuted a new trailer for the next Dragon Age title at The Game Awards 2020.

While not showing much new footage, BioWare’s latest trailer for their new Dragon Age (which still isn’t called Dragon Age 4) saw the return of character Solas.

Solas featured in the franchise’s previous title Dragon Age: Inquisition, which was released way back in 2014.

With the reveal of Solas, it looks like Dragon Age 4 will follow directly from the events of Inquisition, who (spoilers) was revealed to be the Elven god of betrayal Fen’Harel aka Dread Wolf in disguise.

So it looks like the next Dragon Age will follow players as they look to preserve Thedas, although no release date was given on when we can expect to return.

Dragon Age 4 will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
