A new Pokemon-like open-world game from the makers of Craftopia has been revealed.

Palworld is a new Pokemon like open-world survival crafting game from Pocketpair Games, an indie studio that is known for developing Craftopia.

In this brand new open-world game, players will be making friends with the creatures called ‘Pal’ and explore the vast fantasy world and engage in various activities including building, farming or even disastrous fights.

Palworld gameplay details

The first announcement trailer reveals the game to be majorly focused on the fantasy creatures ‘Pal’. The whole game revolves around these Pokemon-like creatures. They have similar power and abilities as Pokemons. Players can make Pals fight, breed, help with farming, or work in factories. They can also sell them off or even slaughter them to eat! That, however, is not recommended and forbidden by law in the world of Pals.

From the video, the game looks fun and well crafted. The game embeds a lot of different elements to keep the players engaged. Players can explore, engage in gunfights, do dungeon raids, ride on their Pals, do farming, produce materials in the factories or just live peacefully and enjoy the companionship of their beautiful Pals.

For now, Palworld is announced for PCs with no mention of other console or mobile devices. The game is expected to arrive in 2022. However, it is already available on Steam for wish listing. The price of the game is yet to be revealed.

System requirements

The minimum systems requirements are

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 or later
  • Processor: 2.0 GHz Dual Core or similar
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: VRAM 2GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 10 GB available space

From the announcement video, the game looks quite beautiful. With the different game mechanics and the vibrant ecosystem created by the Pals, gamers would definitely be happy to dive deep into this new open-world game.
