PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation Announced for September 10, Sparks PS5 Pro Rumors

As rumors of a PS5 Pro continue to swirl, Sony have sparked the discussion themselves after announcing that a PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation will take place tomorrow, September 10, 2024.

The presentation will be hosted by Mark Cerny, Lead Architect of the PS5 console, and last for roughly 9 minutes. Sony haven't revealed exactly what will be part of the presentation, however the company had allegedly teased the PS5 Pro a recent 30th anniversary PlayStation imagery which players were quick to spot.

According to The Verge, the PS5 Pro is definitely real and will allegedly feature "a more powerful GPU and a slightly faster CPU mode." The hardware is also expected to be capable of reaching higer resolutions, improved frame rates in certain games, and more
