Prime Gaming December 2021 free games: Frostpunk, NFS Hot Pursuit and more

Those who subscribe to Prime Gaming (previously known as Twitch Prime) get a tonne of rewards each month, from Genshin Impact items to New World packs, and much more. There are also free games for subscribers to pick up, if you don't count the subscription fee, that is.

For the month of December, there are a total of nine games Prime Gaming subscribers can grab, and there's a way to get them without opening your wallet. Let's first take a look at the nine games coming to Prime Gaming.

Prime Gaming December 2021 games

Starting on 1st December, Prime Gaming subscribers can pick up nine free games, including Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, Tales of Monkey Island, the brutal survival-RTS Frostpunk and much more.

As you can see, there's a little something for everyone. My personal favourite has to be Journey to the Savage Planet, an adventure/survival title that really brought me a lot of joy, and is a bit underrated.

Get Prime Gaming games for free

If you don't want to open your wallet and pay roughly 6 USD for a Prime Gaming subscription, and you've never signed up for the service before, there's a way to get all nine games coming to the service in December for free. In fact, if you time it correctly, you can get November's eight games as well.

Keep in mind this is a once-off trick, so time it well to get the free games from Prime Gaming you really want. Follow the steps below to get the Prime Gaming freebies.

1. Head to the Prime Gaming website and click select "Try Free".
2. Link your Amazon Prime membership to your Twitch account if you haven't already.
3. Link your gaming platforms (Steam, Origin, PlayStation, Xbox etc) and Prime Gaming account here.
4. Now open this page and scroll to the bottom, then click on the game you wish to claim for free.
5. Follow any additional instructions to receive the keys for all nine free games.

If you time this correctly, you can get both batches of free games, for November and December, in one seven-day free trial.

For November, gamers can pick up eight free games, including Remedy's brilliant Control, Dragon Age Inquisition and more. Technically speaking, you can therefore grab 17 free games at once.

Remember to unsubscribe before the seven days free trial runs out so you won't get billed.
