PS5 games to be revealed in next Official PlayStation Magazine issue

PS5 games to be revealed in next Official PlayStation Magazine issue

While we've seen the specs for the PlayStation 5, and the DualSense controller, we haven't heard much about the games. This will all change when the July issue of Official PlayStation Magazine releases on 2nd June 2020, with a digital version releasing a bit earlier, as per usual.

In the June issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine, it has been announced that PS5 games will be revealed in the next issue, and we simply can't wait to see what Sony has in store for us.

PS5 games reveal incoming

The announcement from the Official PlayStation Magazine reads:

"The next gen starts next issue as we reveal the latest games coming to PlayStation 5, and how they’ll play."

The last part is of great interest, as this means we might even get hands-on impressions for some upcoming, unannounced PS5 games from the Official PlayStation Magazine.

We reported earlier this month that an insider claimed PS5 and Xbox Series X game showcases could be coming in May, and this could still be the case. The digital version of the Official PlayStation Magazine releases a bit earlier than the physical version, after all.

Speculation is that we might see a full PlayStation 5 reveal, with the first look at the console design, before Sony reveals the games coming to their next-gen console.

If this is the case, then we can expect a console design reveal in May, followed by the PS5 games in early June.

We hope to see the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn 2, which has been heavily rumoured, as well as a new Marvel's Spider-Man game, but at the time of writing, there is no indication exactly which PS5 games will be revealed.
