Redout 2 Nintendo Switch Release Date And File Size

Following a short delay, developer 34BigThings and publisher Saber Interactive are unleashing Redout 2, an arcade-style anti-gravity racing game for PC and consoles on 16th June 2022. That's unless you assume Redout 2's Nintendo Switch release date is the same, as there has been another delay.

Redout 2 release date on Nintendo Switch?

The anti-gravity arcade racer has seen a delay in the past, as it was pushed back from 26th May to 16th June on all platforms.

Unfortunately, those on Nintendo Switch will have to wait even longer for Redout 2 to speed past the finish line of development.

While PC, Xbox, and PlayStation gamers will be able to play the game on 16th June 2022, the Redout 2 Nintendo Switch release date has been pushed back into July.

As per the image above, the developers announced late on 13th June 2022 that Redout 2 on Nintendo Switch needs a bit more time.

The announcement via Twitter reads: "Switch players - the game needs a little more polish time. We’re working to get the Switch version out in July, and we’ll have an updated release date for you as soon as we can!"

At the time of writing, we only have a Redout 2 Nintendo Switch release date window of July 2022, and not an exact date just yet.

It is, however, important to remember that polishing up the game a bit could avoid launch issues, and the delay seems to be a relatively short one.
