Silent Hill 1-4 Could Be Coming To Steam

The original Silent Hill games are infamously hard to find and play now in 2022, with physical copies for most consoles ranging upwards of $100. As games age, they become increasingly challenging for players to find and enjoy, whether fans are on the lookout for a digital or physical copy.

Konami may be answering many fans' prayers with hints suggesting that the classic Silent Hill games could be coming to Steam. Here is everything we know about Konami potentially bringing Silent Hill 1-4 to Steam as digital downloads.

Silent Hill Coming To Steam?

In a 25th August 2022 Instagram post, Konami announced that 23 games and 18 DLCs will be coming to Steam in the form of Steam Digital Downloads. Some of the games, according to the announcement, will be newer, while others will be Konami classics.

In the hashtags, they included mentions of Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, and Castlevania, leading fans of all three franchises to hope that they will be included in the release. Like Silent Hill, older Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania games can be hard to find.

With recent rumors suggesting that there could be new Silent Hill games coming in the near future - or a remake of the original Silent Hill 1 or Silent Hill 2 - it makes sense that Konami would release the games on Steam to allow more fans to play the originals.

Still, nothing has been confirmed, and our theories come from the hashtags on Konami's recent Instagram posts. We can only hope that one or more of the original Silent Hill games is included in Konami's upcoming Steam releases so that more fans are able to enjoy these iconic games.
