Sonic Frontiers - How To Pre-Order & All Pre-Purchase Bonuses

Sonic Frontiers is the next mainline Sonic game and is certainly stirring a lot of buzz. The game looks to be blending aspects from not only the platformer genre but from open-world RPGs as well.

Time will tell whether or not this decision by Sonic Team pays off, but for now, one thing is certain. The game is generating an enormous amount of hype!

How To Pre-Purchase Sonic Frontiers

Sonic Frontiers is available on several different platforms, including PC. Because of this, depending on your preferred hardware, the method of pre-ordering Sonic Frontiers will vary.

Furthermore, depending on whether you want a physical or digital copy of the game, the method of pre-purchase will also change.

That being said, both methods are fairly simple, so let's take a look. 

Digital Copy

The easiest way to pre-purchase Sonic Frontiers would be to pick up a digital copy. You can do this by visiting the PlayStation Store, The Nintendo eShop, or the Steam Store. 

Currently, the Xbox store does not have the game available for pre-purchase (and the same is true with the Epic Games Store). However, Sonic Frontiers is slated to come to these stores very soon. 

Physical Copy

If you are interested in a physical copy, you will need to check out your local retailers and see the kinds of pre-order requirements and bonuses the specific store is offering. 

All Sonic Frontiers Pre-Order Bonuses

Those who pre-order Sonic Frontiers will receive a ton of in-game items designed to help give you a headstart in the game. The exact quantities of these items and their effects are currently unknown, but if you plan on buying the game anyway, having some extra goodies surely won't go amiss. 

Players pre-ordering the standard version can receive:

• Blue Seeds of Defense
• Skill Points
• Red Seeds of Power

Players pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition can receive:

• All in-game items from the Standard Edition pre-order bonus
• A secondary treasure box containing Amy's Memory Tokens, A Portal Gear, Chaos Emerald Vault Keys, Additional Gloves, and Shoes for Sonic
• A digital art book
• The full soundtrack

Additionally, certain retailers (such as Gamestop and Best Buy) are offering Exclusive Steelbooks featuring different artworks of Sonic and Sonic Frontiers. Again, make sure to check out your local stores and see if they have these steelbooks available.
