Fans of the Starship Troopers movie universe have long awaited the release of Starship Troopers - Terran Command, a strategy game based on the movies.

Starship Troopers - Terran Command was originally set to come out on 31st March 2022 but announced on 21st March that the game would be delayed.

The new planned release date is 16th June 2022. Those interested in the game can pre-order it for $29.99 on Steam. The game is developed by The Artistocrats and will be published by Slitherine Software.

Starship Troopers - Terran Command is a real-time strategy game focused on defending the world from insect intruders. Set in the Starship Troopers universe, the game takes many elements both in story and style from its original inspiration.

In Starship Troopers - Terran Command, the player takes on the role of a military commander, controlling armies to protect the world from the Archanids in a tower defense-style approach.

Players will be able to access a wide array of weapons to do the job, ranging from Assault Rifles to Grenades, and can appoint different specialists, like Rocket Troopers or Engineers, to different positions on the battlefield.

Commanders can use the terrain to their advantage, too, allowing for a tactical approach. Starship Troopers - Terran Command will feature mechanics such as True Line of Sight and True Line of Fire, making terrain useful but requiring lots of thought to use well.

Starship Troopers Terran Command - Campaign story

In the campaign story, players will be able to further explore the Starship Troopers universe, interacting with familiar characters from the movies.
