Summer Game Fest 2023 Start Time & What To Expect

Summer Game Fest 2023 is rapidly approaching, promising a whole host of reveals and likely a lot of commercials for Doritos if previous years are to go by. But what can you expect from the showcase? What time will the showcase be starting? We take a look at what you need to know and find out.

What time does Summer Game Fest 2023 start?

Summer Game Fest 2023 takes place on Thursday, 8th June, at the following times across timezones:

• 20:00 BST - 22:00 BST
• 21:00 CEST - 23:00 CEST
• 15:00 EDT - 17:00 EDT
• 12:00 PDT - 14:00 PDT

The showcase is currently believed to run around two hours, though as the showcase is live it's worth noting that it could run over, or it could even run under. It's likely though that Keighley wants to stick as close to his promised time as possible.

What can you expect to see at Summer Game Fest 2023?

We know of three games that will absolutely have a presence at Summer Game Fest 2023. Mortal Kombat 1 is going to have a world-premiere gameplay reveal at the showcase, Soulsborne game Lies of P will appear at the showcase, and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will appear at the show in some capacity. Other than that no games have officially been revealed, though with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth seemingly posting daily reminders about the game that ends on the day of SGF, it's possible we could see something from that at the show.

Other than that, we might see updates on previously announced titles such as Wonder Woman, or more from Judas. There are over forty different partners at the showcase this year, with the full list being:
