There's been much excitement in the gaming community, especially among first-person shooter fans, regarding the recent free-to-play multiplayer FPS title The Finals being released. The game features some unique quirks and mechanics that set it apart from the rest, and players have been given a chance to experience it firsthand during the closed beta. 

Some players may be wondering how long the closed beta will be running for and when it will be ending, ultimately looking forward to a release date. So in this article, we'll be answering the question of when The Finals closed beta ends and what can we expect once it does.

When Does The Finals Closed Beta end?

The Finals closed beta began on the 7th of March 2023 and will conclude on the 21st of March. While there is no solid end time for the beta, we can expect it to end around the same time it started on the 7th of March, which was roughly around 4 AM PT/7 AM ET.

On the official developer server, it was stated that the company, Embark Studios, will be slowly ramping up the number of invites sent out to players throughout the beta. So if you haven't gotten an invite yet, you may be getting one soon so you can try out the game for yourself. 

To access the closed beta, players need to head over to the game's official Steam page, and scroll down until they find the section mentioning "Join The Finals Playtest." Here, you must click on the 'Request Access' button and await your chance to jump into the closed beta if you're lucky enough.

Lastly, we should touch on the possible release date for the game. Now, while we don't have any official word from the developers regarding this at the moment, the fact that the closed beta is up and running, it's safe to say we can expect a release date for The Finals towards the end of 2023, or early 2024, but as always this is just an estimate and should be taken with a grain of salt.

But the fact that the closed beta is well underway is a good sign that the game will be coming soon, as many players are keen to get their hands on this new game for its unique features. These include an ultra-destructive environment, interactive weather, and fast-paced gameplay (which we expect from the ex-Battlefield developers working on it).
