2023 is brimming with big AAA game releases, with one of the biggest being the sequel to 2017's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been a long time coming, and Nintendo finally revealed a release date and a trailer for the game earlier this year.
Now just months before its eventual release, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's ESRB rating has been confirmed. While it's nothing out of the ordinary, it pretty much confirms that another delay might not be on the charts.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gets a E10+ rating
Like Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom has been rated E10+ by the ESRB. While more details are yet to be revealed, some of the content descriptions include fantasy violence and mild suggestive themes. You can check out the rating on Nintendo's official store web page.
In 2017, Breath of the Wild became the first game in the series to have the "Use of the Alcohol" content description. As of this writing, we do not yet know if Tears of the Kingdom will have anything similar or not.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches on 12th May 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
