From developer Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo comes a role-playing video game, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, releasing on 29th July 2022 for Nintendo Switch owners to enjoy. It is, of course, part of the open-world Xenoblade Chronicles series, and those who've played previous titles might want to know what the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 file size is.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 file size - How big is the download?

As players get ready to join Noah, Mio, and their friends as they traverse epic landscapes of Aionios, battle ferocious creatures, and fight to break the never-ending cycle of violence that binds their homelands, the first battle might be to clear enough space on their Nintendo Switch.

Those who've played previous Xenoblade titles on the Nintendo Switch will know the series doesn't pull any punches on your storage. The Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition weighs in at 13.7 GB while Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is 13.2GB.

According to the game's official Nintendo eShop page, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is 14,129,00 MB. This is without any DLC or a possible Day 1 update.

Keep in mind that the Nintendo Switch and the Switch Lite both only have 32 GB of internal storage, which can of course be expanded with MicroSD cards.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will also feature waves of DLC content via the Expansion Pass.

We expect some of this content to further increase the game's already-massive file size. Check out a list of confirmed content and rewards coming to the game.

• First wave: Arriving on 29 July 2022 and will include helpful items and outfit color variants.
• Second Wave: Will be released by 31st December 2022 and feature challenge Battle, a new hero character and quests, and new outfits.
• Third Wave: Thiswill launch by 30th April 2023, and include another round of challenge battles, a new hero character and quests, and new outfits.
• Fourth Wave: Arriving by 31st December 2023, will introduce a brand-new story scenario.
