Warframe Dagath Best Build: Abilities, Mods, Weapons

Warframe Abyss of Dagath update brought a new hauntingly beautiful frame to the game called Dagath. If you didn't know, Dagath is the game's 54th Warframe and specializes in dealing Viral Damage.

Dagath also has insane crowd control and can easily spread Viral Damage across all enemies. If that wasn't enough, Dagath gets an exceptional critical damage bonus, making her a CC tank. However, she isn't perfect, and if your energy economy isn't good, you may struggle to play as Dagath efficiently.

Dagath's Abilities in Warframe

Like other frames, Dagath has four abilities, that you unlock as you level up. Dagath is a rather energy-consuming frame, so while you can deal massive Viral and Critical damage, managing her can be a challenging task. 

Wydr Scythes

Wyrd Scythes surround Dagath and seek out nearby enemies. Those struck are slowed and suffer Viral damage with a guaranteed status effect. The Scythes also spread Doom (more on that later) and extend its duration.

Doom 

This one's important. Condemn nearby enemies to their doom. A portion of the damage Dagath deals is revisited upon them by a Wyrd Scythe. They also suffer Viral damage. 

Grave Spirit

Supercharge Dagath's weapons with extra critical damage. The effects are doubled on Doomed enemies. Escape fatal blows by briefly assuming a spectral form. 

Rakhali's Cavalry 

Phantom Kaithes charge forth, inflicting Viral damage upon all in their path. Their attacks strip the defenses of Doomed enemies.

Dagath's core gameplay loop includes activating Grave Spirit for bonus crit damage, spreading Doom on nearby enemies, and then spamming Wyrd Scythes to deal massive damage. For this, you have to remain in close vicinity of the enemies, and Dagath doesn't exactly boast a massive shield that could improve her survivability. As such, the first thing you need to do to make her a health tank is to use the Umbral Vitality mod. Pair this up with Arcane Blessing, and your Dagath should have a decent health pool. 

Next up is her armor, and as mentioned previously, it isn't something to be proud of. As such, your best bet is to get something like the Health Conversion mod, which could get you up to 1350 Armor. Couple that with Arcane Guardian, and your Dagath should have a decent chance of surviving challenging content. You may also use the Adaptation mod to further enhance your defense. 

Since both Health and Armor mods require an absurd amount of orbs pickup to function efficiently, we recommend replacing the Rakhali's Cavalry ability with something like Lycath's Hunt, which increases the drop rate of health and energy orbs. 

With Dagath's survivability improved, it's time to focus on the mods that could maximize her ability strength and improve the overall damage output.

Firstly, you may want to use the Stretch mod to increase the range of your ability. It's mainly for improving the reach of Wyrd Scythes, which isn't much. 
For this, you may want to use something like Umbral Intensify and Blind Rage, both of which can significantly improve Dagath's ability strength. However, using Blind Rage will also decrease your abilities' efficiency, and you may want to use the Hunter Adrenaline mod to make up for the lost energy.

Speaking of energy, keeping her three main abilities active requires a ton of energy, you may want to equip either the Flow or Prime Flow mod. This should increase Dagath's maximum energy and allow you to spam her abilities to deal maximum damage. 

Best Weapons for Dagath in Warframe

• Kuva Nukor
• Cedo

Since Dagath's specialty is crit damage, you may want to use weapons that offer a high critical damage bonus. The Kuvo Nukor Pistol deals the highest critical damage among all weapons, which makes it the prime option for Dagath. You can also use other high crit-focused weapons like the Lavos' signature shotgun Cedo.
