Are you wondering when cross-save is coming to Warframe? It's no surprise that cross-save has been one of the most requested game features, especially since Digital Extremes enabled cross-play across all platforms in 2022. 

With cross-play live, it was only a matter of time until its sister feature made it into the game. Unfortunately, it took longer than anticipated, but at TennoCon 2023, the studio finally revealed when cross-save goes live in Warframe. 

Warframe Cross-Save Release Date

Cross-save is coming to Warframe in 2023. While there's no release date set, game director Rebecca Ford mentioned in the TennoCon 2023 preview event that it wouldn't be part of the Abyss of Dagath Halloween update. You could expect it to arrive in the winter update, which comes with the Whispers in the Walls story arc, but the studio hasn't officially confirmed it yet.

Warframe celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. It continues to be one of the most popular free-to-play live-service titles, and if TennoCon 2023 was any indication, plenty of exciting things are planned for the future. 

With Warframe mobile on the horizon, it seems more necessary than ever to have a cross-save feature in the game. Thankfully, Digital Extremes has confirmed that cross-save will carry over your Mastery Rank, Focus, Rewards, Equipment, and more on the platform of your choice, so you can continue your Warframe journey on whichever platform you want.
