DMZ has become a Warzone staple in recent seasons, taking place across three of the game’s maps: Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, and Vondel. This extraction mode allows players to take a break from the usual Battle Royale and Resurgence matches for something a little bit different.
While a dedicated Resurgence map wasn’t available at Warzone 2’s launch, Activision soon rolled out Ashika Island. This map sits itself as the smallest of the three, making it the perfect arena to engage in close combat firefights. And despite its size, players can jump into the game’s DMZ mode, picking up missions and loot from all across the map.
If you’re heading to Ashika Island for its DMZ offerings, then you’ll inevitably need to locate a series of Dead Drops.
