As part of the new DMZ mode in Warzone 2, players have to complete a set of missions as one of three factions to earn some sweet rewards. One of the missions as the Legion faction requires that players find and use a Stronghold Keycard, and if you're puzzled as to how you're supposed to do this, then we have you covered.

Below we'll be walking you through everything you need to know to find and use a Stronghold Keycard as part of the new DMZ mode mission in Warzone 2. 

How To Find The Stronghold Keycard In Warzone 2 DMZ

Finding the Stronghold Keycard is part of the "Storm the Stronghold" mission available to players who join the Legion Faction in the new DMZ mode in Warzone 2. There are currently three known ways to find a Stronghold Keycard, all of which we've outlined below: 

  • Buying the Keycard from your nearest buy station for $5000.
  • Eliminating and looting one of the AQ guards patrolling the Stronghold building, though you may have to farm them quite a bit before getting one. 
  • Defeat other players who may have a Keycard on their person.

Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, many players claim that you must first complete the previous two missions before the Keycard will be available to find for this mission. so we recommended doing that first just to be sure. Its also been noted that players have had more luck getting the Keycard from AQ guards on the roof of the Stronghold buildings than those roaming around the building. 

How to Use the Stronghold Keycard In Warzone 2 DMZ

Once you have a Stronghold Keycard, you'll be able to head to one of the Strongholds on the map and loot the tons of rare and valuable resources inside. To do this, simply open your mini-map by pressing the Touchpad on a PlayStation or Xbox, the View button on a PC, or the Tab key, then zoom in using R1 or RB or the mouse scroll wheel to find a white icon that resembles a castle; this is where the Stronghold will be.

Once you've decided which Stronghold to visit, you'll need to defeat a swarm of AI-generated soldiers. We recommend bringing a full squad for this as the AI can be quite challenging. However, once they are defeated, you will be able to loot the area and distribute the rewards among your faction members. That's all about DMZ Stronghold Keycard in Warzone 2.
