CODMAS brings about mixed feelings. While it’s a great time to try out some new LTMs, earn festive rewards, and more, previous years have seen players struggle to take on some of the more dangerous additions. Namely, Krampus.
In the past, Krampus was dropped into Warzone and hunted down any player he set his sights on. Anyone caught by Krampus would be taken down by his special Finishing Move. To make matters worse, Krampus has typically been incredibly hard to kill, leading to a fair few player complaints. So now that CODMAS is fast-approaching, can we expect to be taunted by Krampus once more?
Is Krampus Coming Back In Warzone CODMAS 2023?
Rest easy, players. Krampus will not be back in Warzone or sneaking into Modern Warfare 3 this year. In fact, Activision even made a little joke just to tease worried players. “Krampus is back!” the Call of Duty Blog revealed.
“Just kidding. Instead, get into the festive mood with CODMAS! This Holiday Event brings new challenges and rewards (some visible, some hidden!) to the Urzikstan map in Call of Duty: Warzone in the form of Deck the Halls, Zombie Santa, and Slay Ride.”
So, this year, players will be contending with Zombie Santa in a selection of LTMs. Whats more, Zombie Santa will even be available as a purchasable Operator skin. Players will be able to try their hand a “Slay Ride Resurgence,” a more festive-themed Resurgence mode, and “Deck the Halls,” featuring a number of holiday crates that could help serve your fight against Santa.
Keep an eye out for the train driving its way through Urzikstan this year. Santa will be handing out presents from atop the moving locomotive to all the well-behaved Operators. Naughty Operators, on the other hand, will be met with some seriously heavy resistance.
