Best Warzone 2 Lachmann Loadout: Class Setup, Attachments, Perks

Warzone 2 features powerful weapons that share the same name, the Lachmann Submacinegun or "Sub" and the Lachmann 556 Assault Rifle. Both of these weapons are peaking in the meta as top picks in their class, and with the right attachments and perks equipped, it's easy to see why.

So below were going to take a deep dive into both of these weapons and break down the best attachments and perks for each of them that you should be using the next time you drop into Warzone 2.

Best Lachmann Sub Meta Loadout in Warzone 2 - Attachments

All of the following loadout attachments for the Lachmann Sub were chosen with the help of popular YouTuber JGOD, so if you want to see more of their amazing content, then be sure to subscribe to their channel. Below we've also provided the full video that breaks down the loadout and gameplay using the Lachmann 556.

Muzzle - Xten BR-40
Underbarrel - FSS Sharkfin 90
Rear Grip - Lachmann TCG-10
Laser - 1MW Quick Fire Laser
Magazine - 50-Round Drum

The Lachmann 556 Submahinegun is an extremely balanced weapon made for short-range engagements and mobility in battle, so all of the attachments we've chosen are meant to boost the gun's overall performance and damage output. Starting with the Xten BR-40 muzzle which gives the gun an increase in bullet velocity, increases its damage range and recoil smoothness as well as suppresses the sound of our shots.

The FSS Sharkfin 90 Underbarrel gives the gun a boost in aiming idle stability, and the Lachmann TCG-10 rear grip gives us more recoil control, making this gun insanely stable when firing. The 1MW Quick Fire Laser gives us an increase in Aim walking speed making you more mobile and finally, the 50-Round Drum gives us ample ammunition to rain bullets on our enemies.

Best Lachmann Sub Meta Loadout in Warzone 2 - Perks & Equipment

The fact that you can only choose a perk package rather than a customizable perk loadout is a new "feature" of Warzone 2, and while some fans may aren't too happy with this, the packages available are still well-rounded for all players. We've chosen the Warden package for the Lachmann Sub, and here are the Perks you'll receive as well as the best equipment to go with it:

Base Perk 1: Double Time
Base Perk 2: Strong Arm
Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
Ultimate Perk: Overclock
Lethal: Drill Charge
Tactical Equipment: Stun Grenade

Double Time and Fast Hands are both ideal perks for the Submachinegun class user as the former gives you an increase in tactical sprint and crouch movement speed, letting you fly across the map and get close to players before they can react. And the latter gives you the reload speed you need to counter the slow reload time of most machine guns such as the Lachmann Sub.

Strong Arms gives you more accuracy and distance when using throwables to help you flush out players and make more tactical pushes, and Overclock allows your Field Upgrade to become rechargeable and you can store additional charges for more tactical strategies.

Drill charges let you burrow through walls and force enemies into close-range combat where you're more deadly, and Stun Grenades can blind enemies for a short time, allowing you to put them down before they can recover.

Best Lachmann 556 Meta Loadout in Warzone 2 - Attachments

We've chosen the following attachments for the Lachmann 556 assault rifle with the help of YouTuber Chuck. Muzzle - Harbinger D20 Muzzle
Barrel - Lachmann Rapp Barrel
Underbarrel - VX Pineapple
Optic - VLK 4.0 Optic
Magazine - 40-Round Mag

The Harbinger D20 Muzzle gives us a boost in overall firepower, with increases to our bullet velocity, and damage range. It also balances the weapon a bit with some recoil smoothness and also suppresses the sound of our shots for quiet kills.

Next is the VX Pineapple Underbarrel, which gives the weapon some much-needed stability by boosting its recoil steadiness and aim walking steadiness. It also gives us some hip fire accuracy and control for the more heated engagements.

The Lachmann Rapp Barrel gives the rifle an overall boost in bullet velocity, damage range, recoil control, and hip fire accuracy. While the 40-Round Mag gives us enough ammunition to ensure we can get kills before needing to reload but doesn't weigh us down too much.

Lastly, the Optic we've gone for is the VLK 4.0 Optic, which is ideal for short to mid-range engagements, but of course, this can be up to player preference and you can choose any optic that works for you.

Best Lachmann 556 Meta Loadout in Warzone 2 - Perks & Equipment

For the Lachmann 556, we've chosen the Specter Perk package, and below are the Perks you'll receive as well as the best equipment to go with it:

Base Perk 1: Tracker
Base Perk 2: Double Time
Bonus Perk: Spotter
Ultimate Perk: Ghost
Lethal: Drill Charge
Tactical Equipment: Stun Grenade

The Tracker Perk lets you spot enemy footprints as you move through the map and Double Time allows you to move faster, meaning your chance of spotting enemies first skyrockets and gives you the advantage as an Assault Rifle user.

Spotter lets you see enemy equipment, Field Upgrades, and Killstreaks through walls, and aiming down sights highlights them for your team. You can also hack enemy Claymores, Proximity Mines, C4, and Trophy Systems.

Ghost makes you undetectable by UAVs, Portable Radars, and Heartbeat Sensors, keeping you off the map as you push into tough areas. And similarly to the previous loadout, the Drill charge and Stun grenade are ideal for short to mid-range weapon class users.
