Times are changing and so is Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Ever since Warzone 2 came out, there has been a constant flow of updates that have kept the game feeling fresh. With Season 4, there’s a lot of new content heading straight for Warzone 2.
One of the most exciting pieces of content coming to Warzone 2 is the new Vondel map, a brand-new location opening up more areas to explore and a new meta as well. One thing that players are curious about is how big is Vondel exactly. Is it bigger than Al Mazrah and Ashika Island? Here’s what we know.
How Big Is Vondel In Warzone 2?
When a new map is introduced to a game like Warzone 2, one of the important aspects that need to be understood is how big the upcoming map actually is. After all, map size will define how players approach each match. Thankfully, Activision knows this and they have given us some details about how big the map is. They say that Vondel is a medium-sized Warzone map.
Comparing it to Al Mazrah and Ashika Island, Vondel is in the middle in terms of size. This means that Vondel is bigger than Ashika Island but smaller than Al Mazrah. Being in between these two maps in size means that players will have to come up with new strategies on how to approach fights.
How Many Players Can Be In Vondel?
Now that we know how big Vondel is exactly, what does that mean for player count? Will it be super high or will there be fewer players on this map? In Resurgence, Vondel will be able to host up to 72 players. The player count for DMZ will be 18 on the Vondel map.
Not only that, but Vondel will be a mostly urban area as well. This means more buildings to explore and there will be a lot of vertical spaces to remain aware of as well. Players will have to keep there eyes’ up if they want to be successful on this map. Vondel will be a welcomed addition to Warzone 2 when it releases with Season 4.
