With the release of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 comes a wealth of new content, including a selection of new weapons, new maps, and some new Operators to unlock.
This article explains everything you need to know about the new Operators in MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 5, including how you can unlock them, a description and image of each so you know what you are getting yourself into.
All Warzone 2 & MW2 Operators Season 5 – How To Unlock
There are six new Operators in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5, each of which is unlocked through specific means. Below, you can find a list of all the new Operators in Season 5, alongside how you can unlock them and a description of each for the lore fans out there.
Oz — Launch, Battle Pass
Oz will be a brand new Operator available at launch via the Season 5 Battle Pass. According to his description in the Call of Duty Blog, he was born in Central Florida, and was already finding fatal security flaws in a U.S. military system before he graduated high school.
The blog goes on to say, “He enlisted in a sister program to Hutch’s branch, becoming a highly decorated cyber soldier running top-secret ops, all while creating a family of his own with his brothers in arms. But when General Shepherd asked him to take the lead in a cyber defense division of a new PMC group, Oz was ready to join Shadow Company…”
Graves — Launch, Battle Pass
Graves isn’t exactly a new face, having appeared in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. But now, he’s back and ready to join the fight once more. According to the Call of Duty Blog, Graves is an American, former Special Ops Team Chief, and the founder and current CEO of Shadow Company, a global risk management, protection, and private military firm specializing in troop, air, and maritime capabilities. In team modes, he and other Shadow Company Operators will side with KORTAC.
Arthur — BlackCell
Like most BlackCell Operators, Arthur’s biographical information has been kept neatly under wraps. Though, as the season progresses, we’ll likely learn more about this mysterious Operator. All we know so far is that he’s one of the Shadow Company’s best.
Mila — Battle Pass
We don’t have much on Mila just yet, only that she’ll be arriving as part of the Battle Pass. When, however, remains hidden by Activision. As we continue through the season, more information will likely come to light.
Velikan — Battle Pass
Another new Operator heading our way as part of the Seaosn 5 Battle Pass. Velikan is described as “a shadow of a shadow.” This Shadow Company warden of Building 21 has been ousted from Konni Group, and is now looking for new operations. He was assigned to defend Building 21, as a mercenary, from any elite Operators who managed to access the facility. But now he seems ready to work for SpecGru across all online operations.
Mace — Mid-Season
Even less is known about upcoming Operator Mace, only that he’ll be joining the roster during the Season 5 mid-season Reloaded update. The Call of Duty Blog reveals that Mace is “Another returning face — or mask”, and will assist Shadow Company with “clean-up duties.”
