Now that a new season is underway in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, players are getting stuck into everything the game now has to offer. This includes new loadouts to build, new Operators to use, and much more.
Season 4 has brought with it something special — a brand new map. This gives players more fresh content to explore, be it new POIs or even some new game modes. Here, we’ll go over Warzone 2’s latest map, which arrived in Season 4.
What Is The New Map For Warzone 2 Season 4?
With the rollout of Season 4, a brand new map named “Vondel” dropping at launch.
The new Vondel map is based in the Netherlands and its size sits roughly between Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Up to 18 Operators will be able to drop into the map for DMZ, and 74 for Resurgence game modes.
The map has been developed by Beenox, and features 15 distinct points of interest (POIs) including a medieval castle and an abandoned zoo. Running with the Netherlands theme, the map’s topography will include an extensive system of canals, roads and bridges.

Which Warzone 2 Game Modes Will Have The New Vondel Map?
Vondel will be playable in both DMZ and the Resurgence game modes at launch. For the unaware, Resurgence is the game mode where there are no Gulag fights so players can get back into the action a lot faster. These maps also tend to be a lot smaller.
While the standard Battle Royale mode isn’t included in Vondel at launch, it will be arriving later on in the season. Players can likely look forward to its arrival around the mid-season Reloaded window.
