Warzone 2 Season 5: All Al Mazrah Updates & Changes

In Activision's Call of Duty Blog, detailing the upcoming updates for Season 5, it seems that a portion of Al Mazrah, specifically the Al Bagra Fortress and itssurroundings, will be added to the Resurgence map rotation in Season 5. This new map will be available alongside Ashika Island and Vondel for Resurgence Rotation Playlists.

As for any major landscape or POI changes, it seems Al Mazrah will be spared from any refurbishment this season. This makes sense given the updates the map received in Season 4. If you're curious, be sure to check out all the updates that came to Al Mazrah last season, below.

Warzone 2 Season 4: All Al Mazrah Updates & Changes

As of June 14th, Al Mazrah no longer suffers from active sandstorms and players can enjoy Warzone worry-free. However, with the sandstorms now subsided, Al Mazrah City has several sandbanks that have formed. These sandbanks can be climbed, offering players new creative ways to navigate and move across the city. Specific locations will now feature these sandbanks, creating new threats and positions for players to take advantage of, including:

  • TV Tower
  • The Embassy
  • Highrise Building
  • Multiple roadways and highway systems
  • Small structures in the main downtown area

Expect partial destruction within the city, with these newly destroyed buildings and structures altering the map's landscape. These changes will occur both inside and outside of the city, so expect your outskirts camping locations to have undergone some changes, too.
