Best Warzone 2 SP-R 208 Loadout: Best Class Setup, Attachments, Perks

There are tons of weapons to try out in Warzone 2's many game modes. One of the most popular and meta-defining weapons is the SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle. With incredibly hard-hitting bullets capable of putting holes in almost any target (even through armor), knowing the best loadout for the SP-R 208 in Warzone 2 is a necessity.

Best SP-R 208 Loadout in Warzone 2

Warzone 2 is still in its infancy, so a concrete meta has yet to be defined. That being said, the SP-R 208 is already making a name for itself thanks to its long range and high damage. The following perks and attachments aim to increase these traits even further by providing a high-zoom scope and increased bullet velocity. 

Best Attachments

• Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5 - improves rifle's bullet velocity and damage range while suppressing sound.
• Barrel: 23.5" Fluted R-67 - increases damage rand and movement speed.
• Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x - variable zoom levels.
• Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity - increases bullet velocity even further. 
• Stock:  ZRL T70 Pad Extension - improves ADS and sprint speeds for a fast sniper loadout. 

Best Perks & Equipment

• Base Perk 1: Overkill - allows you to bring another primary weapon for mid-range combat.
• Base Perk 2: Bomb Squad - protection from explosives.
• Bonus Perk: Fast Hands - allowing you to switch weapons and reload faster, which is vital for marksmen. 
• Ultimate Perk: Ghost - the most meta-defining Ultimate Perk for Marksmen allowing you to go undetected from enemy radars.
• Lethal: Semtex - a standard choice for Marksmen that deals good damage and can stick to enemies.
• Tactical Equipment: Flash Grenades - these will help you relocate if discovered.
• Secondary: M4 - to deal with close-range skirmishes. 

How To Unlock The SP-R 208 In Warzone 2

Players can unlock the SP-R 208 in Warzone 2 after reaching rank 7. By staying alive for longer in multiplayer matches, the rewarding XP will be far greater at the end of the game. It shouldn't take most players very long to reach rank 7 at all. 

Alternatively, you can also unlock the weapon in Warzone 2 by reaching rank 7 in Modern Warfare 2. However, if you plan on using the Marksman Rifle in Warzone 2, it probably makes more sense to start ranking up in the game you plan to play. 

Best SP-R 208 Alternatives In Warzone 2

The following sniper rifles would be considered the best alternatives to the SP-R 208:

• SP-X 80
• Signal 50
• MCPR-300

All three of these weapons are incredibly strong and will be able to kill enemies over long distances just as effectively as the SP-R 208. The SP-X 80 is very mobile, the MCPR-300 hits very hard, even at longer ranges, and the Signal 50 has an incredibly fast fire rate. Whatever sniper rifle you choose, good luck on the battlefield!
