As always, there are some general fixes players can try, such as closing resource-heavy programs running in the background. Further, installing the latest NVIDIA drivers, if you have a GeForce GPU, or AMD drivers, if you have a Radeon GPU, is fundamental. Lastly, updating your Operating System (OS) to the latest stable version always helps.

Apart from these basics, however, there could be another reason that WoW Dragonflight players are suffering from low FPS, stuttering, and general performance issues. This has to do with addons and addon manager programs.

Community Manager Drakuloth explains: “Seems like there are a ton of reports of these issues suddenly popping up. Just to make sure we rule out any conflicts, can I have you all uninstall any addon managers like Overwolf.”

As with every new WoW expansion, some of your addons might not be updated for Dragonflight’s changes yet. To fix performance issues in Dragonflight, we suggest first disabling all your addons and addon manager, updating them all, then enabling them one by one, and checking your FPS after each one to find the culprit.

You can also try resetting the WoW User Interface as a last resort. If all else fails, we suggest contacting Blizzard’s customer service for your region.

So there you have it, possible ways to fix performance issues and stuttering in World of Warcraft Dragonflight. Hopefully, this guide has helped citizens of Azeroth fix some issues as they head to Dragon Isles.

We will endeavor to update this article if or when more fixes for performance and stuttering in Dragonflight become available. However, it is essential to note that simply disabling addon managers and waiting for your favorite one to update should already fix most of the stuttering.
