WoW Sunny & Flurky Unique Pets: How To Get

Have you been seeing players in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight running around with an awesome golden retriever pet called Sunny or with a cute baby Murlock in Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) Classic?

If you have, and have some pet envy boiling over, then you are in luck. In this guide, we will explain how you can get the Sunny and Flurky pets in WoW, how much they cost, and what BlueCheck is all about, so let's get started.

How To Get Flurky & Sunny WoW Pets

We are just going to pull off the bandaid right now. The only way to get Sunny, the golden retriever pet in WoW Dragonflight, as well as Flurky, the baby Murloc for WotLK Classic characters, is to open your wallet.

You'll need to purchase the Pet Pack for Ukraine via the Battle.net shop. It will set you back 20 Euros. The pack comes with both in-game pets, and you can also purchase it for a friend. These special edition pets feature matching colors of the Ukrainian flag! Proceeds are donated to BlueCheck Ukraine.

Blizzard explains how these two unique pets move and interact in the world...of Warcraft:

Sunny will occasionally chase her tail or take a nap in between adventures. Flurky the baby murloc carries a sunflower, the national flower of Ukraine, and leaves a colorful flower trail wherever he toddles by your side.

Both Sunny and Flurky will not be available anywhere else, ever. They will not return to the item shop or in-game in any way in the future. Yes, there's no way they will be released in the Trading Post later down the line. This means your only chance to get these special, unique pets expires on August 29, 2023, 10:00 AM PDT (17:00 GMT).

What is BlueCheck?

First up, remember that there is also an option to donate to BlueCheck Ukraine via Battle.net when making any digital World of Warcraft purchase at checkout. You'll find an official description of BlueCheck as per Blizzard below:

BlueCheck Ukraine, co-founded by actor and activist Liev Schreiber, was launched by a collective of humanitarian crisis response experts whose mission is to quickly identify, vet, and support grassroots Ukrainian aid organizations that provide critical life-saving and humanitarian work on the ground. The organization fast-tracks urgent financial funds to partners who deliver medical care and rehabilitate damaged health facilities, evacuate and care for orphans and children with special needs, provide food, water, and shelter for people driven from their homes, take care of senior citizens, and quickly respond to many more urgent needs of Ukrainians affected by the war.
