Xbox Game Pass Price Has Increased, But An Old Deal Is Back

While Xbox Game Pass has earlier this week increased the price of Xbox Game Pass, they've also reintroduced an old offer that ended in March to make up for that increase. 

For years, Xbox Game Pass was available for $1/£1 for your first month, but Xbox got rid of that offer in March of this year. In a statement given to The Verge, Xbox stated:

"We have stopped our previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future."

However, that deal is now available for people who purchase a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, though you cannot get the offer if you purchase Xbox Game Pass for the console. 

In addition to this, Xbox has changed the conversion rate for owners of Xbox Live Gold who want to convert it over to Xbox Game Pass. Instead of a straight 1 to 1 conversion, it is now a 3 to 2 conversion ratio.
