Update 1 - Sources close to Gamereactor.eu claim that Avowed & Fable will definately appear at the Xbox Showcase. But no word on Hellblade. Curious...
[Original Story Follows] - Hellblade 2: Senua's Sacrifice was first announced at The Game Awards 2019, but we haven't really seen anything of the game since a six-minute gameplay trailer was revealed during The Game Awards 2021. Could we see the much-anticipated sequel during the Xbox & Bethesda showcase this Sunday, June 11?

What Engine Is Hellblade 2: Senua's Sacrifice Being Made in?
We know that Hellblade 2: Senua's Sacrifice is being made in Unreal Engine 5, which suggests it could be absolutely cutting-edge. It's actually one of the first games for a console that is being built in Unreal Engine 5, which could mean that it'll be hugely influential to the future of gaming going forward once it releases.
One of the first things we saw from Unreal Engine 5 was the Matrix Awakens tech demo, which was absolutely breathtaking (thanks Keanu) and really showed the fidelity of the engine, so anything approaching that level of quality would be extremely welcome.
When Will Hellblade 2: Senua's Sacrifice Release?
The game first entered full production back in 2021, meaning that we're about ready to see more from the game and maybe even get a release date. Perhaps that last part is a bit ambitious, but we can dare to dream. If we do get a release date, it feels likely that the game will either release in late 2023 or in early 2024, exclusively on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, in addition to launching day one on Xbox Game Pass.
