For anyone who's trying to get some game time in with the Xbox Cloud gaming (xCloud) service from Microsoft and struggling to play their favorite games, you aren't alone.

Take this as a public service announcement: There are currently some severe issues being experienced while trying to game via xCloud, and the Xbox team is aware of the troubles.

In the early hours of the morning on 9 April 2024 (Approximately 03:00), the official Xbox Support account on X released the following statement:

We are aware some users are encountering issues with xCloud gaming sessions. We're investigating! Follow along here and on our status page for updates.

Update: At 08:00 UTC on 9 April 2024, the xCloud gaming issues were fixed.

Any Way To Fix xCloud Gaming Issues?

No, just wait for Microsoft to fix the service interruption issues. It shouldn't be long, so check back and try again in a few hours time. 

We suggest keeping an eye on the Xbox Support account on X, as they will update users as soon as the issues have been resolved.

We'll also update you once we spot a fix from Microsoft!
