Valkyrae Revealed As Gymshark Global Ambassador At Times Square

YouTube Gaming megastar Rachell "Valkyrae" Hofstetter has partnered with major UK fitness brand Gymshark as its newest Global Ambassador. Announced in an impressive reveal on 10th September 2022 at New York's Time Square, Valkyrae was featured in a "game changing" advertisement on a billboard.

The reveal came after a cryptic teaser ad by Gymshark, calling on bystanders to "come say hihihiihihiiihi," confirming the British fitness brand's first partnership with a gaming influencer. Following the reveal, Valkyrae's Gymshark partnership went viral on social media, trending with #ValkyraeOnTimesSquare on Twitter.

YouTuber Valkyrae is Gymshark's Newest Global Ambassador

On 8th September 2022, Valkyrae posted on Twitter, saying that she would be leaving  Twitch Shitcamp 2022 event early to "head to New York" before thanking Twitch streamer QTCinderella for hosting her.

At the time, the YouTube Gaming streamer didn't divulge the reason for her early departure but quickly sparked interest after retweeting a post by Gymshark showing off their teaser ad. Naturally, this prompted widespread speculation by fans, with one Twitter user asking, "Are we getting a new brand deal [...] is she the next ambassador?"

It would seem that content creators Hasan Piker and Sykkuno were in on the secret, with Hasan Tweeting, "I'm live [on Twitch] in NY for a super secret super special billboard reveal" in the hours prior.

Shortly after the official reveal of the New York Times Square advertisement confirming Valkyrae's signing with Gymshark, the YouTube streamer Tweeted, "Incredibly excited to announce I'm one of the new faces of Gymshark." Accordingly, Gymshark also announced the new partnership on its official Twitter page.

The announcement sparked mass applause, with thousands of supporters congratulating the internet star. "Valkyrae, we're so proud of you," wrote premier lifestyle brand and gaming organization 100 Thieves. Notable influencers and streamers also weighed in, including Sykkuno, Corpse Husband, CouRage, Nickmercs, and many more, all expressing their approval.

Valkyrae is the most-watched female streamer on YouTube and is a co-owner of 100 Thieves. This latest announcement as Gymshark's newest Global Ambassador adds to her growing list of accolades. Congratulations, Valkyrae!
