In 2023, there were many highly anticipated games that came out throughout the year. But none was arguably more anticipated than The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The reason was because of its long development cycle ahead of release date and how popular the Zelda series is.

Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild and, with that, a lot of elements from Breath of the Wild transferred over — such as the way players obtain the legendary Master Sword. Here, we are going to go over exactly how much stamina you need to get the Master Sword in Tears of the Kingdom.

In Breath of the Wild, you can find the Master Sword very early on. But to prevent players from having such a strong weapon too early in-game, they put a restriction on it. You needed a certain amount of hearts to get the Master Sword. Now in Tears of the Kingdom, you need to upgrade your stamina before you can get the Master Sword.

Each Stamina Wheel comes in five parts. You will need to get five stamina vessels to get a new Stamina Wheel. If you want to know exactly how much stamina you need to get the Master Sword, you need 2 wheels of stamina to do so. You can upgrade your stamina by heading to any Goddess Statue that you find in towns or out in the wild. You can also use the horned Statue underneath Lookout Landing to transfer your hearts into Stamina. But if you focus primarily on upgrading your stamina first, you can get the Master Sword quite easily.
