When it comes to the future of Fallout 76, Bethesda has been pretty transparent about its plans for the game. Fallout 76 has had multiple DLC releases which have released a lot of new content including new missions and new locations for players to discover. Because of all the added content in the game, players are constantly looking forward to what comes next. To get an idea of what sort of content is coming to the game in the future, we've pulled together all the information we have to help piece together a 2024 roadmap for the game.

Fallout 76 2024 Roadmap Overview

Fallout 76 doesn't strictly have an official development roadmap that covers the entire year ahead. Instead, we get semi-regular Community Calendar (more on them further down) and occasionally, a recent blog announcing any vague plans for the game in the year ahead.

Of the upcoming updates mentioned, the developers confirmed that in Spring 2024, they'll be adding a new update to the Atlantic City expansion called 'Atlantic City - America’s Playground'. From what we know, this will include an additional mission in which players will confront the legendary Jersey Devil, along with new story-driven quests and more.

Further afield, there's a second major update planned which will expanding the map southward into 'Shenandoah Virginia', introducing a new questline, factions, and rewards.

The staple Seasonal Events of the game will continue, but be more frequent with new rewards, and there are plans for additional events on top. Overall, it's an exciting time to dive into Fallout 76 and explore the Wasteland.

Fallout 76 Season 17 Roadmap (June to September 2024)

Although there's no year-long roadmap, we do know what's coming in the immediate future based on the Season 17 community calendar covering June 2024 to September 2024.
