As developer ZeniMax Online Studios confirmed the next DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, Scions of Ithelia, during the ESO Global 2024 Reveal, they also provided some initial details on what content will be available at launch. This DLC will launch with Update 41 in March 2024 for consoles and PC, players looking to gain access to the new content are wondering if it will be added to the ESO Plus membership.

Will The Scions Of Ithelia DLC Be Included In ESO Plus?
Developer ZeniMax Online Studios revealed the official 2024 roadmap for The Elder Scrolls Online, which includes scheduled updates, new content drops, bug fixes, and more. As for whether players can get the Scions of Ithelia dungeon DLC as one of the benefits of being an ESO Plus member, well, we have great news for them.
It’s been confirmed that the upcoming DLC for ESO will be included in the ESO Plus membership, which players will also have access to previously released DLCs, and a Free ESO Plus Trial is available until 25th January 2024. However, the forthcoming Chapter, the Gold Road, won’t be available as all previous Chapters, including Necrom, had never been obtainable from the ESO Plus membership.
As players will have to acquire the Gold Road Chapter separately for the Online Upgrade and Collections editions, which are also available in a Deluxe version, the ESO Plus membership comes in several different plans for consoles and PC. Their one-month, three-month, and 12-month plans do auto-renew, for which players can manage their subscriptions from their ESO account page.
It’s important to mention that the Scions Of Ithelia dungeon DLC can also be acquired from the Crown Store for players who don’t have an ESO Plus membership. However, as of writing, the pricing for the dungeon DLC from the Crown Store has yet to be announced, and we will update this page once more information is provided.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Scions of Ithelia launches on PC and Mac on 11th March 2024 and for PlayStation and Xbox on 26th March 2024. The Gold Road Chapter is available to pre-purchase now for PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox ahead of its global launch.
