Fortnitemares: When Does Alan Wake Arrive In Fortnite?

Fortnitemares 2023 in underway, and players are busy getting stuck into all of the spooky offerings Epic Games have rolled out. Each year, players are treated to the chance to grab some special skins, usually themed around iconic halloween-appropriate characters. This year, players can purchase the Alan Wake Outfit from the Item Shop.

Alan Wake, from the game of the same name and one that's due for a remake very soon, will be joined in Fortnite by Michael Myers and Jack Skellington. But if you're a horror games fan, Alan Wake is the skin you'll be gunning for. So, when does he arrive in Fortnite?

Alan Wake Fortnite Release Date

As part of the Fortnitemares 2023 patch notes, Epic Games has confirmed that Alan Wake will be arriving in a Fortnite later on in the Fortnitemares event. Fortnitemares 2023 will run until November 3 at 2AM ET, so expect the skin to be available before then. 

All three of the pop culture character skins (Michael Myers, Jack Skellington, and Alan Wake) are scheduled to arrive later on in Fortnitemares. There's a chance that the three could arrive at the same time.

Fortnitemates Alan Wake All Cosmetic Items, Price

According to the Fortnitemares patch notes, on top of the Alan Wake Outfit, players will also be able to grab the "Waking Nightmare” Set items. While the exact names of the cosmetic items have yet to be revealed, it seems the set will include a Weapon Wrap, satchel Back Bling, and Pickaxe.

At the time of writing, it's unclear how much the Alan Wake Outfit and "Waking Nightmare" Set bundle will cost. However, they will likely be similar to the price of previous pop culture collaborations. Players should expect the skin to cost around 1,200 V-Bucks, and more for the full bundle.
